To begin sending your personalized NOTTs, a Tribe member must subscribe to the application and then create a Tribe after having downloaded the app. If you already have an account, choose "Create Tribe" in your menu while logged in. Follow the registration process, entering the delivery address of the Tribe Chief, selecting a plan based on how many posts you want in your NOTT, and selecting a payment method.
Once registration is complete, you will receive a unique Tribe code. This code allows other members to join your Tribe while maintaining privacy. After the account is created, the Tribe code is no longer necessary, and members log in with their chosen email and password.
You should be able to include as many members as you want as a Tribe can include up to 300 members!
Yes, you can join multiple Tribes using the "New Tribe”/”Join a new Tribe” option in your account, accessible via the mobile app.
The Tribe code identifies a specific Tribe network. It is required to join a Tribe during registration. Any registered Tribe member can provide you with their Tribe code. If no one in your tribe has registered yet, a subscription must first be created to generate a Tribe code. You need to download the app and create your tribe and an account.
Use this code to join your Tribe group on News of The Tribe during registration. You can enter it by downloading the News of The Tribe app, clicking "Create new account," and following the step-by-step guide.

Once a plan is chosen when creating the Tribe, each member can add money to the Tribe wallet. If there isn’t enough money in the wallet for the NOTT to be printed then the NOTT won’t be printed. The posts that were made during that month stay on the wall but don’t get printed. As soon as a Tribe member adds enough money in the Tribe Wallet to pay for at least a month the News Of The Tribe subscription is renewed ensuring that the NOTT of the following month will be printed for that particular Tribe.
The subscription plan is visible to everyone in the app. Once you’ve entered a particular Tribe, you can click on the 3 buttons on the top right hand corner and select “Our Wallet”. Informations on the subscription plan can be found in the “Our Wallet” page. All active members can change the plan, by selecting (“select” button) a new plan, clicking on “modify” then “select” the formula they want to select, agree to the T&Cs and continue.

You can create multiple Tribes with the same email address. To add another Tribe, log in to your account, click on the "Create a Tribe” button and follow the subscription steps. A great tip for News Of The Tribe? Sending messages from the home page allows to send the same message to several Tribes by selecting them after you’ve written your post.
Each member can decide to leave the app and cancel his account. To do so, you need to go in the profile section (bottom left-hand corner while on the home page) and click on “delete account”.
If there is a need to close a Tribe, an admin user needs to go in “our wallet” section once in the Tribe. From the our wallet page, they can click on “cancel subscription”. They will be asked to provide their bank details so we can proceed to the refund.
Our subscriptions are non-binding, and you can terminate at any time.
News of The Tribe has created a Tribe wallet system to allow all Tribe members to participate to the subscription. To do this, go to your News of The Tribe account and once you’ve entered a Tribe click on the "our wallet" section (accessible through the 3 dots on the top right hand corner of the page).
Payments processing are carried out by the platform Stripe. Information relating to your bank details is under no circumstance kept without your consent.
Format of the NOTT
Our easy-to-read NOTT has been designed for easy and peaceful reading. Its A4 format allows for up to 37 posts (across a maximum of 16 pages).
Layout of the NOTT
Each page allows for 2 posts, for optimal readability. Posts will appear in the predefined order of each section :
1st : the edito
2nd : What’s new ?
3rd : Remember…
4th : That’s a good one !
5th : Let’s play
6th : when will we see each other
Inside each section, posts are ordered by date (this can be modified by users as they can modify the dates of their posts).
The last page will always give the birthdays of the members of the Tribe.

It really depends on your formula :
Formula 1: 12 pages (21 posts)
Formula 2: 16 pages (29 posts)
Formula 3: 20 pages (37 posts)
On the wall of your Tribe, you’ll always find on the top left hand corner how many posts you can still do before reaching the limit of your formula for the current month.
On the mobile application, the symbol in the top-right corner of your message will allow you to choose between editing the message or deleting it permanently. If you are an admin you can also modify or delete the message of another member of your Tribe.
Another functionality of News Of The Tribe is to interact with other members of the Tribe.
Because we need to be able to print your text with the same format all the time, the limit is :
300 characters if it’s a text combined with one or several images (+ additional constraints if you use line breaks).
900 characters if it’s just text. ( + additional constraints if you use line breaks).
Yes and no.
The general structure is fixed (order between the different categories of the NOTT).
However, inside a category (for “What’s New?” and “Remember…”), you can edit the date of your post as the post will be printed in the chronological order.).
The publication date of the next NOTT is shown on the home page of the Tribe wall. It is the same date for all Tribes inside the app. You have until the first Monday of each Month at 7:59 am in the timezone of Sydney to post your messages.
Once the NOTTs are generated, they are then printed and sent out within 3 to 5 days. All that's left is the postal delivery time, generally 3 to 6 days, meaning that most NOTTs reach their destination by the following week. Delivery time can vary depending on the country of destination.
NOTTs are finalised on Mondays, then printed by News Of The Tribe and sent within 3 to 5 days. They should therefore arrive within 10 working days. If the NOTT still hasn't arrived within 10 days, and if the delivery address is correct, let us know and we will investigate and possibly send a replacement.
Exceptions: Unfortunately, our NOTTs can only travel as far and fast as the postal service will allow. There may be delays due to bank holidays or strikes, for example.

For each subscription, we print and send a NOTT to the recipient listed under the subscription. Other Tribe members can access a PDF version of the NOTT, via their own accounts.
All admins may change the delivery address of the NOTT at any time. Just log in to your News Of The Tribe account, enter your Tribe, select “Tribe” in the three buttons on the top right-hand corner of the page. Then select “edit” next to the chief name to modify their address.
To delete your account, go to your profile and click on "Delete account". This is a definitive action, you cannot undo it..
